With MacinCloud servers, the RDP connection client allows copy/paste functionality with text. Notice that the macOS shortcut key (cmd + c) is mapped to ("Windows key" + c). To ensure the copy/paste functionality is available, your RDP client should have the following configuration:
1. Open Microsoft Remote Desktop and click on Preferences.
2. Please make sure the "Use Mac shortcuts for copy, cut, paste and select all, undo and find" is unchecked on Microsoft RDP client (Mac version).
Note: If you wish to use a different remote access app other than RDP, you can obtain a
Dedicated Server Plan (https://checkout.macincloud.com/select/dedicated) and install any of your preferred 3rd party remote desktop app.
- Please note that the copy/paste function is not available when connecting from the Web Browser.
