What is CocoaPods?

CocoaPods is used for efficient dependency management in your Xcode projects—it supports 85 thousand libraries and is used in over 3 million apps!

Cocoapods creates a centralized ecosystem by improving the discoverability and engagement with third party open-source libraries. CocoaPods uses Podfiles, which specify the dependencies for your projects in a single text file. Dependencies between libraries will be resolved and subsequently linked together in an Xcode workspace to build your project.
