Issue: I applied an update in the App Store to my MacinCloud Dedicated server but I cannot connect to it anymore

Cause: The server will require a reboot to complete some kinds of updates, which will say "Restart Required" by the update's title. Note that OS updates always require a reboot. 

Solution: Simply reboot the server to finish the update process

  • Log into the Web Portal 
  • Hover your mouse over "My Servers" 

  • Click "Dedicated Servers" from the dropdown menu 

  • Click "Actions" on the server you wish to reboot

  • Click "Reboot" to reboot the server

  • Allow the server some time to reboot to finish the process
